New way of arranging GP appointments...
Our computer upgrade is now complete and we have returned to normal service. A huge thank you for your patience and understanding over the last few days.
With the change we have expanded our use of Accurx and have introduced a new way of arranging GP appointments at Skerryvore.
𝗪𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗚𝗣 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲, 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲.
Every request is reviewed by a GP. Please provide as much information as possible so we can assess your needs and offer the most appropriate care.
If you need same-day care, your request will be reviewed as quickly as possible. We aim to respond to all requests by 6pm.
If your problem is not urgent, the reviewing GP will decide an appropriate timeframe. You'll then receive a link to book from the appointments available to you.
If you have a preferred GP, please let us know. We will try to accommodate this where possible, although clinical need and GP availability may mean another clinician is more appropriate.
We know any change can take time to adjust to. Our aim is to manage requests safely, efficiently and ensure you receive the care you need as quickly as possible

Medication Review Update
We're continuing to expand how we use Accurx to support patient care and will now be using it to help us review some medications. This means we may contact you by text message with a secure link to check how you’re getting on with your medicines and to ask a few quick questions.
These are usually a mix of multiple-choice questions and questions where we ask for your thoughts and opinions. Your responses will go back to the requesting clinician.
It helps us review your treatment safely and saves you time, often without needing a phone call or appointment. Once you receive the link to the questionnaire, it will be valid for one week.
