Teenage Sexual HealthNon -discriminatory sexual health services are available for all our patients Young people are entitled to confidentiality as other patients. This includes respecting their wish to withhold information from parents or guardians. Confidentiality may only be broken by a health professional when the health, safety, or welfare of the young person would otherwise be at serious risk. Regardless of age, a young person may legally consent to medical, nursing or surgical treatment, provided that they are able to understand what is involved and any possible consequences. This includes contraceptive services. Contraceptive services at Skerryvore Practice Remember, we can provide "morning after" contraception if you have taken a risk. Let our staff know that you need a same day appointment and we can "fit you in" to a surgery quickly and discreetly. Check out these sites for more detailed information |
