Minor Operations

Several minor surgical operations can be done by one of the GPs within the practice

These include

  • removal of skin cysts and other lumps
  • removal of skin tags
  • removal of moles
  • treatment for ingrowing toenails
  • treatment of cysts on eyelids

There is also a weekly cryotherapy clinic for the treatment of warts and verruccas

  

 

At the request of NHS Orkney, Skerryvore Practice has agreed to take over management and clinical responsibility of Scapa Practice for 3 months commencing 3 March 2008 until a permanent arrangement is made. Whilst this transition is in progress, Skerryvore Practice is unable to accept new patients - Scapa Practice list remains open.
